Breast Surgery Before and After Photos

39 y/o mother of four who had a tummy tuck last year, exercises, lost 12 pounds and is ready to look great.

Here she is 3 months after her 330cc breast augmentation under the muscle. Now she is happy with her body, her cleavage and her exercise program.

Here is a twenty four y/o woman desiring breast augmentation to be no larger than a small C cup.

Patient returned to work in two days. These photos were taken nine days after augmentation procedure with teardrop shaped saline implants.

This 35 y/o athlete wears a 36B cup and wants to be more proportioned in her breast to hip size. She wants to be a large C or small D cup.

Four months after her breast augmentation with 330 cc smooth round sub pectoral muscle implants.

These are photos of an 18y/o whose first period was at age 11, and she had had no change in breast size for 3 years. She and her mother came in for consultation to have breast enlargement between high school and college. Note the 34B breasts on a slim woman with flat upper chest and thin skin.

These photos were taken one month after breast augmentation with 285 cc contoured McGhan implants under the muscle. Her skin is still stretched and has not softened to its final shape yet.

This slim 39 year old administrator was through having children (one), wanted to get into shape, and was now ready to have natural-looking breasts after all these years. Note the 34A breasts with wide-set nipples on a woman who lifts weights.

One year after her breast augmentation with 285 cc sub-pectoral contoured implants, resulting in 36B size.

This lady was a 41 y/o manager with two children who was unhappy with her small breasts and wanted to feel better about her self-image. She desired to be a full C cup.

Two months after her 360 cc sub-muscular augmentation: Note, the pre-op nipples point outwards and this direction is maintained after surgery.

This 33 y/o mother of two wanted larger breasts. She liked the shape but wanted to be a large C, we noted some pre-operation asymmetry and decided upon correcting the smaller right breast with a 360cc implant while using only a 330cc implant on the left.

She was also unhappy with the shape of her C-Section scar and fat pockets as marked.

Before	3 Months After

This 34 y/o woman with two pregnancies and one child, was unhappy with sagging breasts, she wanted them bigger, fuller and perky. She desired them in proportion to her hips.

These photos were made two months after her sub pectoral augmentation with 390cc round smooth implants. Note that her nipples were above the breast crease before surgery, so she was a candidate for an augmentation without a lift. She was a patient whom I talked out of a mastopexy and was happy to avoid the extra scars.

Here is a 49 y/o with 3 grown children who exercises and runs 10 miles a week. Once she was a 36D and was happy. We discussed a breast augmentation to make her large like she once was, and a mastopexy to restore her “perkiness”. I suggested that she might be happy with only the enlargement, accept the droopiness, and avoid the extra scars from the breast lift. But if unhappy we could do the lift at second time.

Here she is 5 weeks after 330cc sub pectoral augmentation with textured (as opposed to smooth) implants. She is delighted that we planned it as two stages, giving her the option to choose regarding the scars. She was so delighted that she has had other cosmetic surgery.

This is a 36 y/o administrator with two children. Currently she wears a 34B bra and wants to fill a full C cup. Note that while the breasts droop a little, the nipples are located above the crease under the breast. So she is a candidate for breast augmentation and doesn’t require a breast lift (mastopexy).

Here she is after her augmentation with 315 cc contoured McGhan implants placed under the muscle. At two months after the surgery she looks very nice and can expect a little more stretching and settling of the tight skin.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy) & Breast Reduction

This 46 y/o with 3 children, who all nursed, has a sad story that started overseas in 1980. Silicone implants were placed on top of her muscle. The scars contracted, making the implants feel hard. She had these exchanged for 400cc saline implants on top of the muscle, which resettled into what you see here: hard implants in droopy breasts (a "rock in a sock" appearance).

The after photos show the results of 1) removing the implants and 2) the scar capsule. 3) Inserting new saline implants under the muscle and 4) giving her a breast lift (mastopexy). Note the scars, but also note the normal appearance of the breast shape. The breasts now feel much more natural also.

This 36 y/o administrator & mother of two came to us with lots of shoulder, neck and back pain. She wanted to get rid of the pain and be a B-C cup.

These are 3 months after her breast reduction of 545gm & 515gm from the right and left sides respectively. She noted “…great improvement in her posture and self esteem.” “I think this is one of the greatest things I’ve done,” she said afterwards.

This 40 y/o administrator is the mother of a teenager. She has tried dieting to reduce her breast size from 38 EE to a size that would ease her neck and shoulder pains. Now that she has arthritis of the neck, she seeks breast reduction.

Here she is six weeks after her breast reduction of 640 gm from the right and 715 gm from the left sides, for a total of 3 pounds.
These are photos 16 months post surgery. Note the lightening of the red scars and the more natural appearance. You cannot see the shoulder furrows that are unchanged but the pains are gone.

This lady is 29 y/o with breasts that fit into a 44DDD bra (note: bra sizes above D are notoriously subjective). She matured by the 4th grade, and was subjected to the ridicule of her schoolmates. She heard about breast reduction surgery on TV, but was scared at first. Once she had insurance, she wished to proceed with the surgery.

Pre op: Note, the right breast is larger than the left.

These photos were taken three weeks after her surgery, which removed 1570 gm fro the right and 1210 gm from the left breast, for a total of 6.1 pounds.

This 57 y/o retired mother of one has 42 DDD breasts that are dense and painful. They interfere with her desire to exercise and she is 5’3” tall weighting 197 lbs. She desires to reduce her breast to D cup (but that cannot be guaranteed). The large breasts had no sensation in her nipples but that is not so unusual. In this special situation we chose to remove and replace the nipple to lessen the chance of tissue loss (necrosis) especially with such a large reduction.

Six months after a reduction of 1.1 kg from each breast (total of 4 ½ lbs) and using her grafted nipples; she is much relieved and very happy.
