Face and Lids Pre - and Postoperative Photos
This was a 48 y/o professional who was dissatisfied with her fatty neck and puffy eyes. As we examined her face, we saw that it was all sagging. The neck was the worst, but the jowls also sag. These were connected to the higher portion of the cheeks, so it made her lower lids look puffy. The forehead and brow had descended, so that the upper lids were bulky.
To rejuvenate her face, we chose to lift both the upper and lower lids, then perform a face and neck lift for her. The after photos, taken 10 months later, show dramatic results due to the substantial change in her neckline.
This 48 y/o administrator was dissatisfied with her puffy lids with bags on her uppers. She was also unhappy with her mild jowls and loss of neck definition.
This is five months after upper and lower lid lifts, liposuction of her neck, and limited face and neck lift.
Before: 57 y/o administrator was not satisfied with her jowls and marionette lines. She didn’t like her skin "running down her face” and wanted a younger-looking face, especially in the deep nasolabial folds (the lines from her nose to the corner of the mouth).
After: Three months after face and neck lift, plus fat injection grafts (lipostructure) of the nasolabial folds. Note the improved neck and jaw lines.
As a perfectionist, this 57 y/o executive wanted to look younger and better for work. She had had previous cosmetic surgery as a youth, and had her lids lifted 15 years ago.
Here she is 5 months after her "re-do" which consisted of brow lift, upper and lower lid lifts, liposuction of the neck, face and neck lift, and fat from the neck injected into the fold from her nose to corner of her lips (nasolabial folds). Please look past the make up and note the improvements in jowls, lids, nasolabial folds, and especially the neck.
This 28 year old saleswoman was embarrassed about both her nose and
prominent ears. The second set of photos was taken two months after
remodeling the mildly humped nose, and pinning back her ears. For her it was
the first time she felt comfortable with exposing her ears by pulling back
her hair.
This 48 y/o was unhappy with her frown lines and the bags on her lower lids. She was fastidious with her appearance and wanted elevation of the lateral parts of her eyebrows to rejuvenate her face, but did not want her hairline to become higher on her forehead.
Here she is 3 1/2 weeks after a brow lift, which improved her frown lines and brightened her upper lids. In conjunction with the lower lid lift, it makes her eyes appear bigger and more youthful.
Note: the scar at the hairline is concealed under her bangs.
This 47 y/o outdoors woman wants to look more rested and youthful. Note her high forehead and puffy lids.
This is 7 weeks after her brow lift. Her surgery was done at the forehead line to avoid lengthening her tall forehead. Notice how the eyebrows and upper lids look lighter and brighter. The lower lid lift has taken away her tired look.
This 63 y/o assistant came to us complaining that her upper lids were uneven, drooping, and that she wanted to improve her angry-looking face.
Note: her brows were low and the frown lines were the source of her angry appearance.
The second view is 5 weeks after her brow and lower lid lift. The scars are hidden in her hair. The permanently numb spot on top of her head (as we discussed before surgery) is not a problem for her. She looks and feels happier.
This 67 y/o lady was unhappy with the bags on both her upper and lower lids. Notice she has a high forehead that we do not want to enlarge with the usual incision located up in the hair.
See the results on her eyes 4 months after a brow lift and lower lid lift. For the photo we have pulled her hair back to show the scar. The brow and lids look so good that now there is an apparent age discrepancy between her upper face (nose tip and above) versus her lower face which would benefit from rejuvenation.
